Day 5: Wednesday May 13, 2015 - Judging Day

Morning breakfast was arranged at the hotel so there would not be the stress of travelling to an outside resataurant as in past years.  Worked out great as there was time to arrange a picture of the group in their dressed to perform looks.

An arrangement was made that everyone's pre-ordered lunches at Ten Penny (a restaurant right opposite our Hotel) were available and ready as soon as the morning Judging session broke at 11:45 am.  Lunch was completed by 1:00 pm in order to have our Finalists back at their booths for 1:15 pm.

Judging was completed by 5:00 pm and our Finalists all rolled back with understandably different assessments of their interviews and judges.

As the students started arriving back, Gerard, our committee member from BASEF arrived after his drive from Southern Ontario.  As usual, Cathy was her typical welcoming ambassador self.

By 6:30 pm, everyone was dressed down and ready to head over to Heinz field for dinner and an evening of fun(?) at the Carnegie Mellon Science Centre

You can tell who are the party ones.

Both Catharine and Sam had radio interviews during the evening and were able to fit it in without missing a beat of the evening's activities.  By 11 pm, everyone was back at home base.  As you can see here, Melissa from Team Montreal has quite the entourage of bodyguards four trip home.
