Day 4: Tuesday May 12, 2015 - Excursion Day and Heinz Field Party

We finally woke up to a cloudy day ... and cool at 14'C.  Morning breakfast for 8:30 am was the usual at the au Bon Pain.  But Cathy was up earlier to make sure Aditya and Adree got to their Math IB exam on time for 8 am and Shannon looked escorting Isabella to her Broadcomm Student Obersver activities.  Cathy had a subsequent 9 am presentation on Fair Fundraising; this time, Keynote did not crash on her.

After a short visit to the projects for the students to drop off their project materials (today is the Judges' day to review the students’ material and presentation board), the Team was split up on individual options ... some ended going on a field trip walk along the Allegheny River while others chose to attend an Alumni Reception.  I missed the field trip, so sorry, no pictures.

Some came back for the 2:00 pm Nobel Laureate event.  Our own Raymond was one of the students chosen to ask the Laureates a personal question.

For the evening, the students were invited to a club at the ______ to meet and greet other students.  Understandably apprehensive over tomorrow's Judging Day, most found a way to relax for a few moments.  Some were anxious to get back to the hotel to do more practice on their presentations.

The chaperones had their own adult Mixer Night at the Heinz Field.
